Macro underwater photography

I’m a scuba diver and underwater photographer, and I’ve spent years travelling to different parts of the world with my camera, always looking for what might be waiting beneath the surface.

I’m mainly a macro diver. I can spend an entire dive searching for the smallest creatures, getting completely absorbed in their strange shapes, tiny details and personalities. There is something incredibly rewarding about finding an animal that is only a few millimetres big and trying to capture what makes it special.

I’m always trying to capture more than what the camera simply sees. I want the images to convey something of what I felt while being there: the curiosity, atmosphere, beauty, mystery or emotion of that moment underwater.
