Fine art photography and portraits

I’m drawn to the human form, but even more to what lies behind it. With my portraits, I want to capture emotion, presence and something of the person’s story.

I’m especially drawn to the way people change in the water. There is something about being surrounded by water that can make us let go, become more vulnerable and emerge from ourselves in a different way. I love those beautiful in-between moments where movement, expression and emotion all meet.

My underwater portraits are often created with freedivers and creatives, but I also work along the coast and on land. I like to create an atmosphere where the person can feel comfortable enough to forget the camera and simply be in the moment.

Collaboration is a big part of my work. I enjoy working with models, dancers, artists and brands in swimwear, clothing, jewellery and other creative spaces, developing ideas together and creating imagery that feels like more than just a product or portrait.

For me, the most beautiful images are often the ones that leave a little room for interpretation. Something you can feel before you can explain it.
